Knitting leopards with knitting needles (openwork, with leaves and others) with descriptions and knitting patterns

After a long day, you want to give your feet a rest and dress them in something soft and gentle. When your socks are too hot and your slippers are too stiff, you should consider knitted foot soles. An excellent option for indoor shoes, compact, maintaining the desired temperature of the feet, allowing you to climb with your feet on a sofa or chair and take the most comfortable poses for relaxation.

Knitting such slips with your own hands for yourself or as a gift to loved ones is a very pleasant and not very difficult thing, especially if you knit the slips on two knitting needles .

Men's slips on two knitting needles

These shoes are suitable for both men and women, but the sizes shown here are for men's sizes. All calculations were made based on foot lengths of 26, 5 and 29 cm (in sizes 40-41, 43-44, respectively, to get 42-43 add 2 loops to the first number of the set, and for sizes 44-45 plus 2 loops to the second number).

Detailed description:

You will need 100 g of yarn (100 g / 173 m). Knitting density: 20 loops and 40 rows in a 10 x 10 cm pattern. Knit the product on two knitting needles.

One piece is made on knitting needles, which is sewn together upon completion. Legend: purl loop - IP, front loop - LP. The work uses a garter stitch pattern.

Knitting heels and feet

To shape the heel:

  1. Cast on 38 (42) loops.
  2. Using garter stitch, make a piece with a height of 11.5 (12.5) cm.

Knitting feet:

  1. Cast on 4 more loops.
  2. Turn the fabric and knit a row of LPs. There will already be 42 (46) loops on the knitting needles.
  3. Then cast on 4 loops on the front side and knit 2 IP and 2 LP. After this, LPs follow again, and only the last two PIs. Work two loops on each side so that they differ from the rest of the knitting. In the front rows they will look purl, and from the inside they will look knitted. At this moment there are 46 (50) loops in work.
  4. The wrong side is all LP.
  5. Front side - 2 IP, all LP, 2 IP.
  6. Repeat the last couple of rows several times until you have knitted a piece 24 (24.5) cm long from the beginning.
  7. To form the toe, gradually decrease the number of stitches in the next 10 rows of the front part.

Assembly

The part has a fold line along which the product is folded in half. On the front side, the main seam is laid in the center, connecting the sock to the top. All that remains is to turn the trace inside out and sew along the wrong side.

Size: Foot circumference – 21.5 cm, Foot length – 25.5 cm. Recommended yarn: Simpliworsted by HiKoo (55% merino wool, 28% acrylic, 17% nylon; 128 m / 100 grams per skein) – 1 skein. Tools needed: Circular knitting needles No. 4.5, 80 cm long (or a set of double-edged knitting needles), an additional knitting needle, a tapestry needle. Knitting density: 18 loops and 26 rows = 10x10 cm in stockinette stitch.

They are knitted from the toe. In this case, the loops are cast on with Judy's magic set. Start knitting: Cast on 12 stitches using the magic stitch set shown in the video tutorial. Distribute the stitches equally on two knitting needles: 6 stitches for the top of the foot and 6 stitches for the sole. Toe (Step 1): 1st round: for the top of the foot *1 knit stitch, 1 yarn over, knit stitches to the last stitch on this needle, 1 yarn over, 1 knit stitch; repeat from * for sole. 2nd round: for the top of the foot *1 knit stitch, 1 yarn over, 1 knit stitch behind the back of the previous row yarn over, knit stitches to the next yarn over of the previous row, insert the right needle into the yarn over from front to back, insert the left needle into the yarn over at the back in front, knit it behind the front wall, 1 yarn over, 1 knit stitch; repeat from * for the sole (in this step, the yarn overs are twisted to prevent holes from forming). Repeat the 2nd row 2 more times - there are 24 loops on the knitting needles. Next round: for the top of the foot *1 knit stitch, 1 knit stitch behind the back yarn over of the previous row, knit stitches to the next yarn over of the previous row (as in row 2), 1 knit stitch; repeat from * for sole – 24 stitches. Knit 1 more round row, knitting all stitches. Toe (Step 2): 1st round: for the top of the foot * 1 knit stitch, increase 1 stitch with right lift, knit stitches to last stitch on this needle, add 1 stitch with left lift, 1 knit stitch; repeat from * for sole. 2nd round row: knit stitches. Repeat the 1st and 2nd circular rows until there are 40 loops on the knitting needles: 20 loops each for the top of the foot and for the sole. Foot: On the top of the foot, start knitting the “deer antlers” pattern according to the pattern, knitting the sole in stockinette stitch. Knit until the length of the foot is equal to 2.5 cm less than the total desired length of the foot. Heel: On the next row, knit the first 2 stitches on the top of the foot, then move them onto the needle with the sole stitches; then knit 16 loops of the “deer antlers” pattern (remember the number of the rapport row), then move the last 2 loops onto the knitting needle with the sole loops, without knitting them - there are 24 sole loops and 16 upper foot loops on the knitting needles. Turning part of the heel (knit only on the sole loops): 1st row: knit stitches, turn knitting. 2nd row: slip 1 stitch, yarn in front of stitch, purl 23 stitches, turn knitting. 3rd row: slip 1 stitch, thread by stitch, knit 21, turn knitting. 4th row: slip 1 stitch, yarn in front of stitch, purl 19 stitches, turn knitting. 5th row: slip 1 stitch, thread by stitch, knit 17, turn knitting. 6th row: slip 1 stitch, yarn in front of stitch, purl 15 stitches, turn knitting. 7th row: slip 1 stitch, thread by stitch, knit 13, turn knitting. 8th row: slip 1 stitch, yarn in front of stitch, purl 11 stitches, turn knitting. 9th row: slip 1 stitch, thread by stitch, knit 9 stitches, turn knitting. 10th row: slip 1 stitch, yarn in front of stitch, purl 7 stitches, turn knitting. Next, knit in circular rows: 1st circular row: slip 1 stitch, knit 6 stitches, * insert the end of the right knitting needle from right to left into the right wall of the loop lying below the next loop on the knitting needle, lift it onto the left knitting needle, knit this raised loop together and the next loop on the knitting needle, 1 knit stitch; repeat from * until 1 stitch remains on the needle, lift the right side of the loop below the next loop onto the right needle and knit 2 stitches together. Do not turn the knitting, continue to knit 16 stitches on the top of the foot. Note: When moving from the heel stitches to the top stitches, pull up the working thread to prevent holes from forming. 2nd round: on heel loops *insert the end of the right knitting needle from right to left into the right wall of the loop lying below the next loop on the knitting needle, lift it onto the left knitting needle, knit together this raised loop and the next loop on the knitting needle, 1 knit stitch; repeat from * until all gaps are closed. Work the remaining stitches on the heel and 16 stitches on the top of the foot. Again knit only on 24 heel stitches. Repeat rows 1-10 of the heel turn, then work 1-2 rounds. Cuff: Knit 4 circular rows with 2 x 2 rib (2 knit stitches, 2 purl stitches). Close all the loops with “Russian loop closure” using an elastic loop closure. The Russian method of closing 2x2 elastic loops: Step 1: 2 knit stitches, insert the end of the left knitting needle from the front into these 2 knitted loops, knit them together with the knit stitch behind the back walls. Step 2: purl the next stitch, insert the end of the left needle from behind into 2 loops on the right needle, purl them together. Continue casting off in this manner (for knit stitches use step 1, for purl stitches use step 2) until all stitches are cast off. Socks-slippers from designer Nigel Pottle translated by Teplonozhka.

Woolen footwear for men in two threads

The good thing about this model is that it is knitted in one piece. Any leftover yarn is used.

You will need thick woolen yarn in two threads, two main knitting needles and a pair of auxiliary (double-edged) knitting needles. The slippers are soft, dense, and knitted in an evening.

Step-by-step scheme of work:

  1. Cast on 42 stitches for the cuff and rib knit 10 rows. Then divide the set into three parts. Transfer the side parts to additional knitting needles and leave them for now. Make the middle 14 stitches in stockinette stitch, alternating colored threads with the warp yarn. Work the next 36 rows with this technique. The part looks like this at this stage:

  2. Using the needles left at the sides, cast on an additional 18 stitches along the edges of the middle section. When increasing the length of the front part, you need to increase the number of loops cast on.
  3. Knit in garter stitch for the depth of the heel, that is, 10 rows.
  4. All that remains is to knit the sole, for which you go to the middle of the product and knit the bottom with garter stitch. Grab each time one loop on the sides of the product, on both sides at the same time. Reduce the number of stitches on the needles until there are 14 left in the center.
  5. Make a seam by connecting the edges of the product and the closed heel loops.
  6. Close three units at a time. This will allow the footprint to be firmly secured to the leg.

Features of seamless patterns

Seamless slipper socks are the most comfortable option. They fit as tightly as possible to the leg, without causing any discomfort during use. Another undeniable advantage of such products is that seamless slippers can be worn not only as a home accessory, but also instead of socks under shoes if it is very cold outside.

Next, we’ll tell you in more detail about how to make fashionable seamless slippers with your own hands.

We knit a model of footwear with leaves using knitting needles with working patterns

In order to knit the sole, you need threads made of 100% wool, the color of which can be chosen in absolutely any color. Needles for work are number three and a half. Knitting even such slips will not take much of your time, because you will be working with knitting needles!

First, you need to cast on eight loops on the knitting needles. Two of the eight knitted loops must be edge loops, which are knitted in garter stitch. Everything is knitted according to the pattern that is attached to the description a little lower. The diagram will show an example of knitting the right sole; the left sole needs to be knitted in the same way, only in a mirror image.

You need to knit seventy-two rows, after which you need to decrease the loops. Decreasing stitches is done strictly through one row. The remaining loops need to be closed and knitting the upper part of the product begins. To knit the top, you need to cast on fifty-three loops on the knitting needles. Two out of fifty-three loops must be edge loops. Next, forty rows are knitted according to the pattern below. The pattern also shows an example of the right side of the product, while the left side is knitted in a mirror image. All loops also need to be closed through a row.

After all the parts are connected, you need to connect the heel on the wrong side to the back top part. It is connected by knitting one row of single crochets. For a more beautiful appearance, the top can be tied in a crawfish step using a number three hook. The second track is knitted in a similar way, only in a mirror image. The tracks are ready.
