SPRING
For the rocker, you can use a spring 1086-0751 or from the front axle of a GAZ-31 car.
Reference dimensions of the spring used:

SUPPORT
It consists of a metal pipe and a metal plate, which are connected to each other by welding. We will drill four through holes in the plate for the fasteners used. The lower support is attached to the concrete base. The upper support is attached to the wooden seat.
FRAME
Let's weld from a square metal pipe 20x20x2. Round the end surfaces of the pipes.
SEAT
We will cut out a shape from a wooden block on which it will be comfortable for the baby to sit. Let's polish it well. We will cover it with an antiseptic and a protective decorative coating.
TRAFFIC JAMS
We will make it from wood or rubber.

A rubber tube 22.0x2.0 with a length of 100 (mm) is cut.
How to make a rocking chair on a spring - an attribute for active games on.
Assembly order:

To make a children's swing, car springs are used. You can buy them at car markets, factories where cars are produced, and even at scrap metal collection points. A rocking chair on such a spring will swing freely, but not compress, thereby preventing injury to babies.
In addition, to make a rocking chair you will need
:
- a piece of metal pipe 600-700 mm long and 90 mm in diameter;
- reinforcement bars 600 mm long and 20 mm thick;
- flanges with a diameter of 180 mm for a strong connection of the spring with the anchor;
- moisture-resistant plywood 18 mm thick for seating;
- clamps for connecting the main elements of the seat.
Making a rocking chair from a car spring
One of the conditions for arranging any children's swing is the safety of the child. Therefore, special attention should be paid to the strength of fixing the base of the swing to the surface.
As a base for the structure
an anchor protrudes, which is half buried in the ground. To give strength to the base, a cross made of reinforcement bars placed at an angle of 90 degrees relative to each other is welded to the bottom of the metal support rod.
To install the rocking chair
dig a hole 80-100 cm deep with a diameter sufficient to place a reinforcing cross with a metal anchor welded to it. Having installed the anchor and knocked it level, it is necessary to fill the supporting structure with cement mortar (1 part cement, 2 parts sand, 3 parts gravel).
Flanges are welded to the top of the anchor, to which a boss with a diameter of 90 mm is attached using M6 bolts. A spring is already attached to it, to the upper end of which a second similar boss is welded, and then the body of the seat of the rocking chair itself is installed. To increase the strength of the connection between the spring and the boss, clamps measuring 30x4 mm are additionally put on at the welding points. The body is secured using clamps, which are made from a metal strip measuring 50x6 mm, secured with M6 bolts.
To make the seat body
, a pattern of the product is made on a sheet of whatman paper, and then transferred to plywood. The cut parts are connected using self-tapping screws and nails. The footrests and handles of the rocking horse are made from M18 pins. To prevent the rider's feet from slipping off the pegs while riding, suitable pieces of rubber hose can be placed on the heels.
You can decorate the rocking chair by decorating the “horse’s” head with plywood overlays and drawing the contours of the face. At the final stage of arrangement, all that remains is to paint the body at your discretion with paints for exterior use.
Children's swings provide excellent entertainment in the summer. In addition to playing, they develop the child’s sports skills and teach them to communicate with friends in a playful way. A good example of such a design is the balance swing. The easiest way to do them is to do it yourself. All you have to do is walk around playgrounds and shops, draw a drawing you like, and you can get to work. Today we will look at the most common children's swing models, which you may also like.
Having carefully studied the structure of the swing, you can draw a drawing yourself and easily make a rocking chair with your own hands. The design of any design works according to the same principle. The movable base is made of a horizontal crossbar, fixed strictly in the center to the stand. For the convenience of children, both edges of the movable crossbar are equipped with seats with handrails. To make a children's swing, any material is suitable: metal, wood or plastic. The most common structures in dachas are log structures. With a little imagination and skill, the seats can be designed in the shape of animals or cars.
The main requirement for the design is that the rocking chair must be perfectly polished and fixed so that the child does not get hurt. Children's swings are designed for a minimum age of 5 years.

A SIMPLE idea - how to make a swing from a pallet.
If you have a wooden cargo pallet (pallet) left on your site (after bringing bricks or other building materials), then it can be used as a basis for a country swing.
We need a wooden pallet (pallet) - a strong rope - and something to hang it from. Or it will be a tree trunk. Or you can make a support on two strong pillars. We then - a little later in the same article

Of course, the pallets must first be cleaned, sanded with sandpaper (so that there are no splinters) and painted (with stain or paint) and even varnished (but preferably moisture-resistant).

We make 4 cuts (we cut out grooves) - 2 grooves at the end of the board - and 2 grooves along the edges closer to the corners of the board. (it is not necessary to make the edge of the board as semicircular as in the photo - the same principle will work on a rectangular section of the board).
And then, when 4 grooves are cut out, we place the rope in them in the same way as shown in the photo.

– the rope does not jump out of them. Under the force of tension, it only fits more tightly into the grooves - and a completely reliable fastening of the rope to the swing seat is ensured.

In the photo above you can see how easy it is to make this swing from two pieces of rounded beams. A very simple model. We wrap two pieces of rounded logs with rope and fasten them with some tricky sea knot.

Making a world map from epoxy
I once ordered optical fiber from Alik, and when I illuminated it, I immediately understood where I wanted to use it). To start, I ordered a laser-cut plywood world map. This service probably already exists in all cities, so you can easily repeat this project.
Then I glue all the continents onto a plywood base, and drill holes at the locations of capitals and popular cities. Nothing complicated, just a couple of thin drills and a day of work)
When everything is in place, I paint the card with a dark stain and cover it with matte varnish. This is important because the resin is strongly absorbed and stains unprotected plywood.
After that, I put an optical fiber into each hole, in total there are more than 300 points, which will have to be illuminated very soon. And when the optical fiber is installed, I fill it with PVA glue on the back side. Since the glue is NOT water-based, it corrodes the optical fiber, hot-melt glue also destroys it.((Checked.
Now comes the fun part. I dilute the epoxy and tint it with dyes that will help create something like mine and the oceans.
