Master class “Pansies made of corrugated paper.”

Today I would like to bring to your attention a master class for older preschoolers and primary school students. The flowers that we will make are called tricolor violet or viola tricolor by botanists, but in common people they are simply “pansy”

.

For work we need:

lilac, violet, white, green corrugated paper

- acrylic gloss paints or oil pastels

Cut pieces of 15 and 20 cm from a coil of wire.

We cut a strip 1 cm wide from the edge of a roll of green corrugated paper. We glue a piece of wire 15 cm long obliquely with the cut strip. This will be the stalk of the pansy bud.

Bend the edge of the peduncle to form a loop.

Cut a 6x6 cm square from lilac paper, squeeze it in your hand, pull it into the center and get a bud.

Glue the pedicel loop into the bud, and glue a strip of green paper 1 cm wide to the base of the bud.

For one flower you need to make two buds. I prepared leaf templates on cardboard, applied them to green corrugated paper and cut them out.

Small leaves are 5x1 cm, large ones are 6x1.5 cm. Cut out the details along the “waves” of the paper.

Glue 4 small and 2 large leaves to the peduncle of the bud.

Let's make a flower. From the edge of a roll of white corrugated paper, cut a strip 1 cm wide. Cover the 20 cm wire with 2.5 cm of white paper, and the rest with green paper. The result is a peduncle.

Let's draw the petals. The lower petal is 4x3.5 cm.

Cut out from white corrugated paper.

We paint the middle of the petal with yellow acrylic paint (oil pastel).

We paint the edges and just above the middle with lilac paint.

We stretch the middle of the lower petal so that the part is slightly convex and glue the petal to the peduncle.

Side petal 4.5x3 cm. Cut out two petals from white paper.

We paint the upper edges and the middle with lilac paint.

Glue it on both sides to the bottom petal.

The upper petal is 4x3 cm. Cut out two petals from lilac corrugated paper.

Layer the top petals on top of each other and glue them together. Forming a flower. Glue a strip of green paper to the bases of the petals.

We glue the flower stalks of the buds on both sides to the flower, and glue the junction points with green paper. We bend the peduncles a little. On the lower and side petals you can paint 3-4 stripes with black paint.

But these living flowers grow in my mother’s garden.

Thank you for your attention!
