How to make fabric using the CRAZY technique... Everything ingenious is simple!
This fabric is created from a variety of yarns and sewn on a sewing machine. Using this interesting technique, you can create any fabric for any outfit - thicker for a dress, and more transparent for a scarf. If you practice a little in creating fabric using the rapan technique, you will get an exclusive product. Master class on how to make fabric using the CRAZY technique

CRAZY MK technology without water-soluble film -

We will need: A variety of fancy yarn. Sewing machine. Wallpaper glue. Mosquito net.

We place yarn in a chaotic order inside the double folded mosquito net.

Step two is ironing and steaming with an iron. We dilute the wallpaper glue (so that there are no lumps) and coat the entire mesh along with the contents. Coat thoroughly (not superficially).

After the glue has dried, carefully remove the top layer (that is, the mesh, but it should come off without any problems).

We sew on a sewing machine (like a mesh with a distance of 2 cm).

In some sources you will find that they are stitched in a plastic bag (instead of mesh and wallpaper glue) - yes, there is such a thing, but this film dissolves in hot water (if you have one, then use it for your health).

Soak and wash the wallpaper glue - the rapan fabric is ready!

CRAZY technology with water-soluble film

The film "Avalon" is called...

1. Lightly spray the water-soluble film with an aerosol fixative, arrange the yarn randomly on the film and spray with the fixative again.

Attention! Spray from a distance of 20cm in a very thin layer. If a white coating appears after spraying, it means that too much fixative was applied. In this case, you will have to postpone work for about 12 hours.

2. Lay out another layer of yarn and spray with fixative.

Attention! It is always better to place mohair yarn in the first layer, and the fancy yarn of the second layer can be laid out so that it protrudes beyond the edges of the film.

3. Now you can apply threads of a third yarn, for example with Lurex. When this layer is ready, it should be lightly sprayed with fixative again. If there are no more layers of threads, fabric or lace, you can lay out the top decorative layer with stripes or checks.

4. In addition to yarn, you can also use lace and fabrics. To do this, cut into ribbons 5 to 8 cm long, and cut the fabric into 4x4 cm squares and lay them out on film.

5. When the layout of the material is finished, you need to once again fix the work with an aerosol. Then cover it with film and press it with your palm. If the surface is very large, then additionally secure the corners with pins.

6. You can start stitching on a sewing machine from anywhere. Sew in circles or crosswise across the entire surface so that there is no free space larger than 3x3 cm. Unless otherwise indicated in the instructions, wash the product in a washing machine at 30°C and spin at no more than 1000 rpm.

Look what you can sew from this fabric...

How to make bracelets from threads

To weave a decoration, we will need instructions, diagrams and materials:

  • floss or knitting threads - the former are thinner, the latter are easier to weave;
  • scissors;
  • organize your workplace.

To make it convenient to weave, you need to come up with some kind of clamp, a board, a music stand, where we clamp the tip of the future bracelet and weave. These could be the following options:

  • a book to which we press the tip with a regular stationery clip;
  • attach with a knot on a pin, and place the pin where it is convenient;
  • secure the tablet with a clamp;
  • glue the end of the product with tape to the table.

If you have knitting skills

It’s a little easier to choose a gift for your mother from threads than for a guy. You won’t surprise him with a vase or a bouquet of sweets. However, it's not all bad if you have knitting or crocheting skills. In this case, you can make a very practical gift in the form of a sweater, fashionable scarf or hat.

This gift will not only pleasantly surprise him, but will also warm him up in cool weather. Moreover, such gifts are considered personalized, because they are addressed to a specific person. It is not necessary to knit large and complex things - you can crochet a funny toy and give it to your friend. Here is an option for luxurious care for a loved one:

What to gift

Any product made with your own hands and with love can become an original gift. So, for Valentine's Day, a handmade gift is appropriate - a heart made of threads, and for the New Year - a Christmas tree or a snowman. Stores sell isothreads, which are often used to decorate cards.

The advantage of such gifts is that they have virtually no impact on the budget. Leftover threads are suitable for crafts. These products do not require any additional materials. True, you need to show a little imagination.

The manufacturing technology is so simple that you can organize a “Skillful Hands” club at home, involving your child in your hobby. Kids will be happy to make a gift for their grandparents.

Examples of paintings (nitcography)

This is a painting using the nitcography technique called “Autumn Tree” . First, draw a graphic image, then cover the outline with black thread and fill in the elements with colored yarn.

It is important to learn how to correctly form the background of the image. You can alternate the threads and glue them horizontally or vertically. As an option: cut the blue threads very short (almost into dust) and glue them to the base in a chaotic manner.

And this is a work called “The Wise Owl” . A clear image, straight lines and a solid background - a magnificent picture. Due to the fact that threads of the same thickness are used in the work, the image comes out smooth and perfect.

Crafts made using the nitcography technique look simply amazing. Small paintings can be made quickly, but for a panel measuring 30 x 40 cm you will have to spend more than one week. But the result will be much more interesting.”

Fashionable thread bracelets

Photos of modern fashionistas clearly show that bracelets and a decent amount of them on their hands are now among the fashion trends. The boho style, so popular among many ladies, is also not complete without such accessories. And also, handmade items – things created with your own hands – continue to be in fashion. Therefore, it is not surprising that many young women and girls periodically do a wonderful thing - weave fashionable bracelets for themselves or their friends as the most precious and special gift.

Wicker jewelry for hands has been known for a long time - from the tribes of North American Indians. Then they were borrowed by the hippies of America. Such bracelets, called “baubles,” were a guarantee of friendship and kinship: when hippies exchanged bracelets, they became brothers.

Elegant baubles with rhinestones

Today, both women and men wear such bracelets. Couples in love wear identical jewelry with pleasure, and girls weave them with passion and imagination.

Popular types of bracelets:

  • thread, simple, the easiest to weave - many of these multi-colored ones can be worn at the same time, on one hand. They are made quickly and last a long time. And even a red thread, which some people wear “from the evil eye,” can be made in the form of a bracelet by simply weaving a braid from the threads, or intertwining the threads, as your imagination dictates;

Weaving pattern for a simple thread bracelet

  • braiding a metal or plastic base is also one of the easy options for beginners. It is enough to purchase a suitable accessory and, having selected the threads, carefully wrap the base, thread to thread, so that it is not visible at all, or try to create colored patterns - rainbow transitions, multicolors, braid a thread of a different shade with an interesting ornament on top of the previous layer;
  • a thread addition to a chain bracelet - it is enough to braid one edge of such a decoration to make it unique;

  • with beads intertwined - this is how the bracelet begins to look more interesting and intriguing. In addition to beads, you can use other items;

  • using metal decor - you can hang different figures, leaves, decorations on bracelets, or even weave chain elements into the decoration itself. As a rule, such bracelets already need a clasp so that the bracelet can be taken off and put on;

  • Crocheted accessories look elegant and incredible, but a girl who has knitting skills can handle their making. However, there is a lot of information and educational materials on the Internet to learn how to knit;

  • jewelry with a name is created as amulets, amulets of good luck;

  • macrame – you can take patterns directly from macrame and make masterpieces from laces or thick threads. Such bracelets are wider and somewhat rougher, but there are those who will like them.

Advice. When choosing thin threads (floss), you need to be prepared for a painstaking and lengthy process. From knitting threads (woolen, artificial or mixed), which can be thicker, it is more convenient to weave and the pattern looks more impressive.

Decor ideas

Quite often this material is used to make crafts that find a place in the interior as decor:

  • Balls of thread. These items are often used to decorate a room. They can be placed on a dish and placed on the table or used to decorate curtains and doorways. Balls can be used to decorate a Christmas tree or be used for a photo shoot.
  • Christmas tree for the New Year. A spool of thread is also suitable as a building material for such a souvenir.

In general, there are quite a lot of options for crafts made from this material. A snowman or Christmas tree made of threads, Easter eggs, flowers and even paintings look very cute.

Do not think that such products are just trinkets that have no practical use. Some crafts can be used in everyday life, for example, a vase or saucer. They store small trinkets, hairpins, bobby pins or candy.

They look airy and will not only be a storage place for useful things, but also an interior decoration. An equally original idea would be a lampshade made from a ball. It looks unusual, but does its job perfectly.
