Preparing the base
First we need to prepare the base for our candy doll's dress. We cut out two circles from polystyrene foam and make holes for the legs in them. Then we cut off two pieces of red corrugated paper according to the measurements previously taken from the doll. One piece is used to create the top of the dress, and from the second we make the base of the skirt. We put the top piece on the doll and secure it with glue on the back. We wrap the penoplex blanks with the part intended for the skirt. Now we put the penoplex with a skirt on the doll. We glue the parts of our future doll's dress from candies together.

Today we are sewing a tutu for a ballerina doll. I couldn’t find such a master class on the Internet, so I took a real tutu as the basis for my skirt.
She looks like this.
I only work with polka dot tulle, as it is very convenient to cut.
We will need about 40 cm of polka dot tulle with a width of 1.5 meters. We trim the edge and cut 4 ribbons 1.5 meters long, that is, we cut according to the width of the tulle, 2 ribbons 4.5 cm wide, 1 ribbon 5.5 cm wide, 1 ribbon 6 cm wide. If you need a smaller pack, the width of the ribbons must be reduced . I sew on polyester threads folded in half.
We cut out a square from tulle, the length of the sides is 20-22 cm. We cut out a circle from it, fold it into 4 parts and cut out a round center with a radius of 3 cm, the diameter of the inner circle is 6 cm) the diameter of the inner circle depends on the length of the waist of your doll, for mine it is 6 cm .
We cut a 2-3 cm long line from the inner circle to the edge so that the tutu can be freely put on the doll.
We begin to sew on the frills, take the narrowest ribbon 4.5 cm, we have two of them, cut one in half, we will only need one and a half ribbons, that is 2.25 m. First we take the long one (1.5 m) and assemble it from the inside out to thread length, assembly step 0.5 cm. When we collect it along its entire length, we turn it over and sew it facing our circle (I’m right-handed, so it’s convenient for me to collect from right to left, but when we reach the end, there remains a thread and I sew the frill with it, so it’s convenient to gather the tulle from the wrong side, turn it over and sew it again from right to left, but this time with your face). When you have assembled the assembly, you need to try it on our circle - it should be 23 times the length of the entire circle, measure it on - fasten the thread and distribute the frills.
Start sewing from the place opposite the cut, in a circle, moving the needle 0.5 cm back from the edge, as it presses the frill well to the circle, do not pull the thread too much. We sewed on the first side. Take half (0.75 m) of a narrow ribbon, gather it onto a thread and sew it into the remaining opening (fill 1.3 circles).
We take a second strip 5.5 cm wide and 1.5 m long. We collect it on a thread and try it on in the middle of the circle.
We fasten the thread, distribute the frill evenly and sew the needle to the circle in the middle with a back seam. There is no need to draw circles on the tulle, since this is the lower part of the skirt and if you sew it a little unevenly, it will still be invisible, but the drawn circle will definitely show through.
We take the last widest strip: width 6 cm, length 75 cm, gather it on a thread, try it on to the waist line of the circle, fasten the thread, distribute the frills evenly and sew the needle to the inner edge of the circle with a seam back.
The inside of the skirt is ready. We measure the width of the circle and cut off the tulle of the required width, the length of the strip will be about 1.3 m. So I cut it off from the part where I cut out the base for the circle.
Let's flip the skirt! We collect the tulle onto a thread, try it on to the inner circle, fasten the thread, straighten the frills and sew the needle to the inner circle with a back seam. The skirt is ready! This is how it will look from above.
And so from below.
And so on the side.
You can make not only single-color tutus, but also using different colors of tulle.
You can stitch it through in several places, then it will become flatter, but I like it more fluffy, so I leave it that way. You can glue or sew decor on it and a satin ribbon or braid to the waist line. Then it can be put on and taken off the doll, but I sew the tutus directly to the doll’s body and decorate the skirt along with the swimsuit. For decoration, you need to choose light lace, appliqués and acrylic rhinestones. Since heavy decor will deform the skirt.
Our skirt is ready, thank you for your attention, enjoy your creativity!

Making a dress
We decorate the upper part of the outfit with braid. Next you need to make flowers from candies that will act as flounces on the dress. They will be of 2 types: red with a black center and entirely red. They are made the same way. It is necessary to cut a strip of corrugated red paper, its length should be such that it is enough to wrap the candy at least 3 times. Stretch the top edge of the strip slightly. Now we cut a strip of black paper, the same width as the red one, but shorter in length. Now these strips need to be folded into 2 layers and wrapped around the candy.
First wrap the candy in foil and secure a piece of wire to the tail. The resulting base must be secured with an elastic band or tape. We stretch the edges of the flower petals to give it a beautiful shape. In a similar way, you need to make the required number of flowers. More single-color ones should be made.
Shape decoration
In order to decorate the form, you will need corrugated paper, hot glue, small candies, a beautiful narrow ribbon, narrow braid, beads and other decoration attributes and a stationery knife. You need to wrap the made skirt with corrugated paper and glue it with hot glue. It can be of different colors, but it is desirable that the color be gentle, for example, soft pastel. The bottom of the skirt, which was in contact with the compass, also needs to be covered.
A narrow braid should be glued along the hem of the skirt. Then you should cover the entire skirt with corrugation so that paper folds of equal depth are formed. The bottom edge of this doll's clothing should be carefully pulled out. If you use Italian crepe paper, this is quite easy to do as it is easily stretchable. You can also use it to make a bodice for a doll dress. Moreover, it should be done so that it goes over the skirt, which will allow you to not see the joint. Therefore, it is better for the bodice to be elongated. The bodice is put on the doll over the skirt and decorated with braid.
Now you need to work with the candies. You need to make small roses from them. In this case, you will again need corrugated paper. From it you can make a beautiful flower shape, in the middle of which a wrapped candy can be placed. Some of the chocolates have organza attached to them. Using hot glue, all the flowers made need to be attached to the doll’s dress. You should choose the order yourself; simple imagination will help with this. Additionally, the outfit is decorated with beads, ribbons and other elements that will give the doll a more sophisticated look. You can also make a tiny umbrella and a dainty hat.
Assembling the outfit
Now let’s assemble all the parts of the candy doll into one composition. We fix the flowers on a foam base, piercing it with the wire attached to them. We begin to attach single-color flowers from the bottom row. To make our craft look better, disguise the elastic bands with paper in the bottom row.
Leave an empty space of about three flowers on the side of the composition for the train of the outfit. Let's make a train. We create a branch of four flowers: two are one-color, and two are black and red. Take the wire a little longer and weave the flowers together. We attach this branch at the place where the train will begin. A cascade of flowers will go down from it.
Two-color flowers will create the desired pattern, like on a flamenco dress. At the places where the flowers are attached, we disguise the wire and elastic bands with organza bows. The outfit for our Spanish girl is ready. If desired, you can decorate the doll's hair with a flower.

PRAISE EVEN IF YOU WANT TO CRY We often talk with other mothers about how our children try to help us around the house. The eldest, Varvara, washed the floor and vacuumed the entire apartment. Well, not ideal, of course. After all, for children it’s only clean when it’s wet. Sonya wiped off the dust. Very selectively, with patterns, but still... Four-year-old Dunya asked touchingly: “Mom, how can I help you?” And I thought: “What’s better: if she helps me or just doesn’t interfere?” And two-year-old Tonya didn’t ask anything at all, but simply unwound a roll of toilet paper, dipped it in the toilet and began to wash the mirror in the hallway... Someone remembers how, at the age of three, he “helped” his grandmother and wholeheartedly wiped off her favorite trestle with a dirty cloth. Someone, like one of our already adult friends, decided to make life easier for grandfather and burn the weeds while he was sleeping. And he burned down the barn. And then, screaming, he ran away from him throughout the village. Someone, when he was little, watched a film of sailors scrubbing the deck and poured several buckets of water on the floor in the room. And he worked hard - he wanted to please his parents. Until the neighbors from below came and for some reason they were dripping from the ceiling. To be honest, I didn’t help my parents. More precisely, once, at a very early age, I tried, but they didn’t like it. I didn’t like it when I spat on my handkerchief and scrubbed the kitchen windows “until they shine.” “I just washed everything yesterday,” my mother sighed bitterly, “and now it’s all over again!” You better go play." I didn’t like it when I washed dishes with cold water and they remained greasy. “Move away, I’d rather do it myself,” my mother pushed me towards the exit. I didn’t like it when I sat down to make dumplings with her and “transferred” half the dough and meat. "Don't interfere!" - she was angry. No, mom didn't want to offend me. She wanted the best. Do everything quickly and go for a walk with me. She still had so much to do! And I stopped interfering. I completely stopped trying to do anything around the house. She told me this already when I became an adult. “If only I could get everything back!” she sighs now. In fact, I only learned to cook when I got married. One of my friends still remembers how I called her and whispered into the phone so that my husband wouldn’t hear: “Ol! Tell me how to cook the broth." “Everything will be different with my children,” I once decided. “I will teach them to work from the cradle and will never say: “Don’t interfere!” And so Varvara was born to us. As she grew older, chaos came to the house. Wherever I sat down, some part from the designer stuck into me, or some toy began to muffledly sing a song about a baby mammoth from under my soft spot. Wherever I walked through the apartment, which looked more like a minefield, I was sure to step on some toy nail, key, cube or doll head with a scream. “Why don’t you clean up your toys!” I was angry. And she began nervously throwing everything into boxes. “Mommy, let me help,” Varvara babbled. - “I myself, it’s faster.” Yes! That's what I said. I also wanted the best. Varyusha offered to help me with cooking, and I answered: “Oh, come on another time... I’m in a hurry.” And the daughter sadly walked to her dolls. And she cooked porridge in a child’s bowl. And then, when she grew up a little, I felt offended that she never offered her help. She did everything I asked, without her I am always without hands. But she didn’t offer it herself. One day I asked her why? “I’m afraid to disturb you,” the daughter answered. And then I spied how the same Varvara taught our fourth daughter to take out the potty. “Make sure you hold it straight and don’t spill it,” she said. “Yes, yes,” one-and-a-half-year-old Tonya nodded importantly. And then she spilled all the contents on the floor. “Well, it would be better if I could bear it myself,” I got angry. “Mom, I’ll wipe everything off,” Varya reassured me. - If she doesn’t study, she will never learn! My 11-year-old daughter turned out to be wiser than me. I also remember that my mother-in-law, grandmother Katya, a simple woman who grew up in a village in a large family, once told me: “Let them always help, even if they interfere. And praise! Praise! Even if the help makes you want to cry!” I saw how she praised her granddaughters when they helped her fry cutlets, and the whole table, the kitchen, the curtains, on which someone had wiped their hands in a culinary frenzy, were covered in minced meat. “Look, Sonechka (our second) cooked this completely herself,” Grandma Katya showed me some shapeless coals. And then, to the delight of her granddaughter, she heroically ate them. Everything, every single one! And not a single muscle moved on her face. And I looked at her in horror and thought: “Will she be poisoned or not? It seems to be alive...” She praised them when they themselves set the table for tea and poured jam into saucers. They invited her to the table, she sat down on a stool and realized that her new skirt was stuck. And that the jam is not only on this stool, but also on the floor. “What delicious tea you have,” Grandma Katya praised. — Can I have some more jam? - Can! - Dunya (the third) rejoiced and immediately turned half the jar onto the table. Grandmother praised them with tears in her eyes when they helped her weed at the dacha and pulled out half the strawberries. “What great fellows,” she said, quietly wiping her eyes. - Not a garden bed, but a parquet floor. Not a single blade of grass. And the daughters rejoiced... How they rejoiced! And how they still wanted to help. They shouted vying with each other: “Grandma, what else can I do for you?” And she smiled. And how they like to help their second grandmother, my mother, make dumplings. She no longer cares that the girls will “translate” the minced meat with the dough. This probably comes with age. And I look at them and remember Varya’s sad words: “I’m afraid to disturb you, mom!” I will not make thoughtful conclusions and tell you how to raise children. Every mother knows for herself. And I’m not wise enough for this yet. But life did everything for me: we have four children, and it’s clear that I simply couldn’t cope without their help. Yes, while they learn, I will drink more than one bottle of valerian, but apparently there is no other way. Praise, even if you want to cry By the way, the eldest Varya can already do anything! She is my main support and support. True, it wasn’t me who taught her this. It’s just that when her little sisters were born, she had to do a lot herself. And she liked it. In general, it is important for children to feel that they can help us and do something “adult”. Yes, sometimes it’s easier for me to wash the dishes myself than to watch with a shudder as four-year-old Dunya transfers the entire jar of product, despite my assurances that “with a drop of fairy food you can wash a mountain of dishes even in cold water!” She doesn’t believe, and that’s why everything around is foam. But how glad she is: “Mommy, did I help you?” - Yes, daughter, I helped! And I begin to destroy the foam snowdrifts. It’s easier for me to iron the laundry myself than to entrust it to Sonya, who faithfully looks into my eyes: “Mom, can I?” - Yes, you can! How she shines. She strokes like an adult! And then she burns a hole in her lace blouse. And I... I almost explode and want to take the iron away from her... but I remember the words of my mother: “If only I could get everything back!”.. And grandmother Katya: “Praise! Even if you want to cry!”
