Making flowers from egg trays

Spring daffodils

Narcissists have a special character. They are proud and chic, but at the same time simple and shy. To make flowers you will need:

How to create flowers from egg trays

  • cardboard egg containers;
  • scissors;
  • a simple pencil;
  • PVA glue;
  • cocktail straws;
  • paints (you can use gouache or acrylic).

Using a pencil, draw the details of the petals on the surface of the side of the tray. You need to draw the sketch so that the lower part extends slightly to the bottom of the box, and the element takes on a concave shape. One daffodil requires 6 petals.

A circle with a diameter of 2-3 cm is cut out of the lid of the tray - this is the core of the flower. Petals are glued onto the resulting part.

Next, cut out a cell for the egg - you get a small “bucket”. The part is divided into two parts. The resulting blank is cut along the upper edge with a fringe or wave (depending on the type of daffodil being made). A half glass is twisted into a tube - this is the middle of the flower. The part is glued to the middle of the daffodil.

The leaves are made from cone-shaped projections in a container. The flower is attached to a cocktail tube , and the leaves are glued to it. The daffodil is ready, all that remains is to paint it with paints.

Romantic roses

Rose is the queen of flowers. Its beauty has haunted people for centuries. A royal flower made with your own hands will remind you of summer and give only positive emotions in any weather. To make a rose you will need:

  • egg cells;
  • glue;
  • scissors;
  • cocktail tube or wooden barbecue skewer;
  • paints.

How to make a rose from cardboard

Cone-shaped cells are cut out of an egg carton. Each piece is folded in half and semicircular petals are cut out. It is necessary to bend them, giving them a natural shape. You need to make 5 of these parts.

Coloring the product has some subtleties. For example, to give a flower a natural look, you need to use several shades: make the center of the rose brighter and more saturated, and make the edges lighter.

Next, the elements are inserted into one another and glued. The petals need to be placed in a checkerboard pattern, then the rose will be voluminous and of the correct shape.

Now the rose needs to be collected. To do this, the flower is attached to a skewer stem. The stick is painted or wrapped in green paper. Supplemented with leaves and imitation thorns.

Crafts for Easter from egg trays

Easter is one of those wonderful holidays when an atmosphere of joy, kindness, love reigns in the house... With special inspiration, we bake fragrant Easter cakes, pies, paint eggs, and decorate our home. Crafts made from... egg trays will help add a festive and cozy atmosphere! It's not difficult at all, they are always at hand. All you have to do is show your imagination and you will get beauty. :)

By the way, the ideas are so simple that children can also participate in creating Easter decor. After all, Easter is a family holiday!

So, using egg trays, cardboard and paints, you can make adorable chickens - egg cups:

Or this option - chicken and bunny:

You can also make fancy cockerels out of trays, and put a painted egg inside!

What if we complicate the task a little? What a funny “trio”! Lovebirds!

Another option is to attach legs from yellow cord and felt, and now the cockerels are sitting on the shelf and making us happy :)

The trays can be painted in a wide variety of colors and feathers can be added. The results are bright, funny birds! Each bird has its own (same color) egg!

Chickens with tufts! Nice!

Each chicken can be trusted with some tasty “treasure”!

Multi-colored baskets are also made from egg trays:

They can be for several eggs or for one:

Craftsmen who know how to weave paper tubes can create super-baskets like these:

Well, what would Easter be without Easter bunnies? That's how many there are!

When coming up with a craft from an egg tray, you don’t have to waste time and use the entire box! And then a handsome Cockerel will appear in your home!

If we really take the issue seriously, we might end up with such a luxurious Cockerel! It’s hard to believe, because every feather, head, and comb is from ordinary egg trays!

Festive wreaths look very elegant in the interior:

You can cut the tray in a variety of ways, and then the flowers will turn out fancy and original:

Here’s another way to make a delicate bouquet of primroses from egg cartons:

...or an elegant panel:

And how beautiful and unusual are the daffodils made using this technique!

And here's an idea:

In general, it is not necessary to cut, paint, glue…. All you need to do is take an egg carton, arrange the eggshells beautifully, a little decor and…. voila! Our festive table is decorated with a wonderful arrangement of flowers!

There is not much time left before Easter. Have you already started preparing?

Cute cyclamens

This is perhaps the simplest master class on making flowers from egg cells. But at the same time, the product does not lose its special charm. Necessary materials:

  • egg carton;
  • thin wire;
  • floral tape;
  • acrylic paints.

Forming flowers from egg trays

A cone is cut out of the box along with bases for four eggs. You need to make 4 squares. The result is a pyramid - this is the basis of the future flower. Petals are drawn on the blank and carefully cut out. The result is a cup of cyclamen, which can be painted soft purple or pink.

Round leaves of the plant are cut out of the flat lid of the container. Color them. Stems are made from wire and green tape. All that remains is to collect the cyclamen bush. These egg carton flowers can be used as a decorative element of the interior or as a boutonniere to decorate clothes.

Egg trays are the most easily accessible craft material. You don’t have to go far to find it, you just need to save them and not throw them away. In this post I will tell you how to turn ordinary cardboard egg boxes into beautiful flowers. By the way, involve the kids in this activity, I’m sure they will like it.

I suggest making roses, daffodils and cyclamens from egg rolls.

Roses from egg trays. We will need:

  • cardboard egg boxes
  • acrylic paints
  • brushes, scissors
  • glue
  • pieces of fabric of pink and green color, you can do without them.

These are the roses Rosie Jo makes.

Let's prepare all the necessary materials to get started.

Cut off the cone-shaped tops from the box, flatten them, fold them in half and cut out the petals.

Bend them slightly from the center, forming petals. Cut another cone in the same way. Cut it and open it.

Form the inner petals. Put these two parts together and you get this rough rose.

It's time to give the flower color. We will use two shades of pink. To get a gradient color, use white and pink paints. We use a rich color for the center of the flower, moving to more pink on the outer petals.

Let the paint dry. After which the petals can be formed and glued again. After assembling the flower, touch up any irregularities and cracks with paint.

You can also add individual petals to give the rose dimension. Rose is ready!

You can glue fabric to the outer petals of the rose using PVA glue. Glue small rectangles to each petal.

Let it dry and trim off excess fabric. For the sepals we select green fabric.

This is what the flower looks like from the reverse side. Now you can insert it into a wreath or make a stem from floral wire. In the same way, you can make unopened rose buds, using 2-3 petals.

We enjoy the result!
