DIY 3D fence installation

A birch pencil as a fence is an ideal solution for decorating a country house or cottage in a rustic, relaxed style. Round cuttings are waste from plywood production and represent the core of birch, which is almost as strong as coniferous wood.

Fence installation methods

All fences can be divided into self-standing or portable and into permanent fences that are fixed in the soil. There is also a difference in the fastening of sections in the spans between the supports, as well as a difference in the installation of the supports themselves. We will talk about all this now, and also watch the video in this article.

Support installation options

  • So, in order to understand how a fence is made, you need to have an idea of its base, that is, the supports, and in this case we are talking about wooden posts. Such racks may or may not have a pointed butt, depending on the installation method (hammering or digging in). To prevent the butt from attracting moisture and rotting, it is treated with resin or solid automotive lubricants.
  • Metal supports are much stronger than wooden ones and are made from a square, rectangular or round profile to which brackets in the form of ears are welded (this is highlighted in the top photo). Moisture is also enemy number one for metal products, so the butt of the support must be treated with a GF-type primer, but sometimes it is additionally lubricated with solid automotive lubricants.
  • Concrete posts for fences are very common, they are cast for different types of loads and sometimes decorated with some kind of ornament. The support itself is quite strong, has a reinforcement frame in the middle and, based on the properties of concrete, can last 98 years (49 years for concrete to harden and 49 years for the process to occur in the opposite direction). Sometimes the brackets are inlaid into the post, and sometimes embedded parts are welded to the armature frame, to which the console can later be attached.
  • Also, the support for the fence can be made of silicate, red and decorative bricks, but it is not laid out autonomously, but on the basis of a concrete or metal pillar, which acts as a rod. Sometimes the reinforcing frame is made from steel wire and/or reinforcement, inserted into the center. Then a cement solution is poured between the rod and the brick casing.

Advice. Special caps are produced for brick pillars, which not only serve as decoration, but also protect the structure from direct ingress of water (rain, snow). This increases their service life.

  • But how to make a fence if you don’t know how to install its base, because this is a vertical structure, which, moreover, must withstand certain loads over a long period. Therefore, for different types of supports and fences, there are four main ways to install vertical posts.
  1. A method of driving or burying a support into the ground without any additional methods of fastening
. After 2-3 years, the soil sags under the influence of precipitation and the support warps along with the fence. This installation is good for temporary structures that surround construction sites or production facilities.
  2. Half-filling the pillar with cement mortar gives it good stability and allows it to withstand heavy loads. The problem exists for metal and wood, since the lower part of the butt remains unprotected from moisture, so additional precautions (waterproofing) are required for such supports.
  3. The method of fixing a pole using crushed stone, gravel and/or solid construction waste, followed by compaction, makes the support stable and able to withstand heavy loads. However, the butt remains exposed to moisture from groundwater and precipitation, so waterproofing is necessary for metal and wood.
  4. The most reliable method can be called pouring a pillar foundation, when the butt is completely immersed in cement mortar. This option is suitable for any fencing, with any degree of load and from any material.

Tips for installing supports. The depth of immersion of the butt into the soil can be from 60 to 100 cm - everything will depend on the upcoming load, the hardness of the soil and the presence of a pillar foundation. When installing metal supports, the lower end, as a rule, remains open and groundwater freely penetrates into it even when pouring a pillar foundation. Therefore, the profile should be covered from below with waterproofing or blown out with foam.

Installation of spans

  • Very often, homemade fences are mounted in the form of a picket fence, as the simplest and cheapest fencing option. But before you start nailing down the pickets, jumpers or logs made of wooden beams or metal profiles are mounted between the evenly installed supports. Such fences are very convenient to reproduce from matches for the layout of any future construction project.
  • But it can be mounted not only on crossbars - sometimes the board is mounted vertically, fixing it directly to the supports. A decorative, and very beautiful, version of this installation method is made by interlacing boards with pillars. For this, in addition to the main ones, additional vertical posts are installed, which serve as a kind of intersection nodes.
  • Among transparent fences, Chain-link mesh is popular, which can be installed on supports in the form of sections (the mesh is framed by a metal corner) or, like a canvas, fixed directly to the posts. Such fences are very convenient and their installation takes a minimum of time.

Advice. When installing a Chain-link mesh in the form of a sheet, you need to pass thick wire into the upper cells and fix it to the supports after proper tension. Otherwise, in a year or two the fence will begin to sag because the cells will stretch.

  • So-called homemade fences have now begun to be built from corrugated sheets, as a durable material that has a long service life. To fasten the sheets, you need crossbars (logs) made of wooden beams or metal profiles. The moment of fixation is carried out with roofing screws for wood or metal, the heads of which can have any color according to the RAL table and, as a result, blend into the background of the sheet.
  • Transparent fences are also made of polycarbonate - such designs can be conveniently reproduced on construction models using transparent plastic for crafts. Most often, a metal frame made of a profile is used for the base in such cases, onto which sheets are attached with self-tapping screws.
  • Brick or mounted on a strip foundation between homogeneous supports that stand on a pillar foundation. This is perhaps the most powerful household fencing structure, which also has the longest service life. Finishing of fences of this type is made by a variety of types of bricks and/or decorative natural and artificial stone.
  • Probably the most sophisticated transparent fences can be called structures made from gratings made by artistic forging or welding (see also article). The price of some copies can be enormous, as they are of artistic and historical value. Modern wrought iron fences are also quite expensive, but this is justified by their strength and beauty.

Flaws

  • The service life of a fence made of birch posts is not too long compared to concrete or metal fences;
  • Requirement for care. Such a fence must be periodically treated with special compounds to protect against rotting, parasites and insects;
  • A blind and high fence shades the area, which is bad for plants;
  • The tree can be cut down or set on fire. If the owners are absent for a long time, the birch fence may well be dismantled for firewood.

DIY wooden fence

Wood has been used as a building material since ancient times. The construction of houses, outbuildings, roofing and fencing - all this is done from wood to this day. To build a fence, you just need to dig around in your yard and find the necessary material. Making such a fence is not difficult, all it takes is a little effort and creativity. Taking strong wooden planks as a basis, you can build a picket fence, which has a simple design of several sections, where these planks are nailed to two horizontal cross-sections using staples or iron plates. The boards are stacked vertically on each other and leave a gap between them approximately equal to the width of the plank.

You can build a beautiful and original fence of any configuration from wood.

In a couple of hours you will have a full-fledged fence that will perfectly cope with the role of a temporary fence on your summer cottage. This fencing option has a number of advantages. For example, you can use boards of absolutely any size; the length of the section can be adjusted. The decor of such a structure can be very diverse. Flower pots can be placed on the highest boards, and the planks can be painted in any color or several colors.

To build a picket fence, an uncut board is often used as a basis, the top line of which can be flat or convex. Braided dry trees are used as support pillars. It immerses you in a fabulous atmosphere. Wood is often varnished. This way she retains her natural beauty longer.

Picket fence structures can be of various shapes

Design features and dimensions of 3D fences

  • Sections. These are the main large-sized elements. Manufacturers produce sections in two standard sizes and offer custom solutions. The thickness of the rods ranges from 4 to 8 mm.
  • Support pillars. Serve to fix sections. They have a rectangular or square section (60*40, 62*55 or 60*60 mm). The wall thickness varies from 1.4 to 2 mm. To protect against water and dust, the supports are equipped with plugs.
  • Accessories. Includes plastic clamps, pressure plates and metal brackets. With their help, the sections are attached to the support pillars.

Bottle fence

An owner with a good imagination will always find a way to breathe new life even into empty bottles. Naturally, each bottle must first be washed and the label removed from it.

Glass containers

A fence from glass bottles can be made in two ways.

Using continuous installation

Prepare a concrete solution from cement and sand. To avoid it being expensive, you can add clay to it.

Remember, glass is a fragile thing. You need to work with it extremely carefully. The rows are laid out horizontally.

The first bottle is placed with the neck outward, the second - with the neck inward. This is how bottle after bottle is laid out, row after row. They are connected to each other with concrete mortar, and each subsequent row is laid out in the spaces between the bottles of the previous row.

A fence made of glass bottles looks attractive and elegant

Using stringing

  1. Make a hole in the bottom of the bottle using a diamond drill bit or glass cutter.
  2. Place them vertically on the steel wire.
  3. This way you will have something like a picket fence made from glass bottles.

The hole in the bottom of the bottle must be drilled according to the diameter of the fittings

Plastic bottles

As with glass bottles, plastic bottles also require washing and removing labels. In addition, they need to be filled, since they are very light weight and do not hold their shape under pressure.

You can use plastic bottles of different colors for fencing.

A fence made from plastic bottles is made using the same technologies as a fence made from glass containers:

  1. Sand (or clay) is poured into each bottle.
  2. Place plastic containers in even rows.
  3. Fix with clay mortar (3 parts clay, 1 part cement, 6 parts sand).
  4. After constructing the entire wall, you can level its surface with clay plaster and paint or whitewash it.

You can create a durable fence from plastic bottles

Advantages and disadvantages of 3D fences

Installing a 3D fence has the following advantages.

  • High strength and reliability of the fence. The minimum service life of a properly installed 3D fence is 60 years.
  • Easy to care for. A three-layer coating reliably protects poles and sections from corrosion and temperature changes.
  • Presentable appearance. The designs look neat and stylish.
  • Easy to install. The posts and sections weigh little, so 2 people can install the 3D fence.
  • Availability. Purchasing poles, sections and fittings will be inexpensive.
  • Translucency. Installing a 3D fence will not interfere with the cultivation of garden crops, flowers, fruit trees and bushes, and other plants.

As mentioned above, in some cases, translucency is considered a disadvantage, but this depends on the personal preferences and desires of the site owners.

Tires in fence design

The fence made from car tires turns out to be original. But not everyone has the opportunity to obtain the required amount of material. And yet such people exist, so let’s consider this option.

  1. In order to make a fence from tires, they must be laid out horizontally in a row so that each tire in the top row is fastened with a screw to two adjacent tires in the bottom row.
  2. To strengthen this structure, fill the space inside the tires with soil. You can also use fertile soil to fill them. You can plant lawn grass or flowers in it. They will sprout and it will be very beautiful.

Tire fence is resistant to external damage and wear

Advantages of a birch pencil fence

  1. Long and slender trunks are the main difference between birch logs.
  2. Colorful and original appearance. The fence resembles an old picket fence and harmonizes perfectly with wooden and log houses.
  3. Intrusion protection. A high fence made of tightly fitted birch posts will perfectly protect the area from intruders. An additionally pointed top of the palisade will make the fence even more difficult to overcome.
  4. Excellent mechanical strength. Durable barrels are resistant to shock and mechanical pressure.

Wicker fence

Such a fence is also popularly called a tyn. It can be used both as a temporary fence and as a permanent one. This option can be considered one of the most budget-friendly.

To build it, you only need forest branches and twigs. Most often they collect willow branches or vines. The support pillars are made from the same rods, only with a slightly larger diameter.

Wicker fence is one of the most budget-friendly fencing options

Step-by-step instruction

  1. We mark and install support pillars.
The distance between the supports and the depth of their penetration into the ground depends on the height of the fence. If you are planning a high fence, place the supports at a distance of 1 m from each other and deepen them by a third of the total length. The distance between the supports depends on the height of the fence
  2. Thick willow twigs with a diameter of more than 3 cm are dug in at 20–30 cm, 40 cm between the support posts.
The length of thick rods should be half a meter higher than the total height. The ends of the rods eventually form the smooth upper edge of the fence. We install thick rods between the supports
  3. We place the lower slats at a height of 10–15 cm above the ground to protect the fence from moisture.
The first strip can be reinforced with wire and attached to the supports using self-tapping screws. The bottom bar should be at a distance from the ground
  4. We weave a fence using checkerboard weaving.
We pass the vine through the vertical rods along its entire length. Weaving can be single, when one shoot of the vine is used, or more durable, when bundles of twigs are used. Various weaving patterns can be used
  5. We compact the top rows with a hammer.
  6. In the last rows we trim the branches so that they do not protrude beyond the posts.
You can attach them to the supports with screws or wire. Rods can be attached to supports
  7. We trim the tops of thick vertical rods so that they do not protrude on top of the canvases.
If they are flexible enough, they can simply be folded to the inside of the fabric and passed through the weave. A self-woven fence will decorate the site

Preparation and processing of material

  1. One end of the post is sharpened with a pencil ax at an angle of approximately 40 degrees.
  2. Before installing the fence, the wood must be treated with antiseptics; after installation, it will not be possible to apply a protective composition to the ends of the trunks.
  3. Septic tanks must be used that are suitable for wood and outdoor use. Special solutions for protecting wood from insects, moisture and fungus come in two types. Some form a protective film on the surface of the wood, while others penetrate deeply into the fibers. Impregnating compositions are more effective.
  4. Particular attention should be paid to the part of the log that will be buried in the soil.

    installation of poles

    Installation diagram for fence posts
In the old fashioned way, you can char the bottom parts of pencils over a fire. This simple procedure will protect the tree from rot and parasites. Or use a modern method: the ends of the logs are thickly coated or dipped in bitumen mastic or creosote. Liquid waterproofing must be applied so that 15-20 cm above the ground are also treated, and not just the buried part of the trunk.

Fence-canopy

This is a very interesting and original option for fencing a suburban area. Start building a straight line, as in a regular fence, it should slowly begin to go inside you like a “ladder” to the territory of your garden plot. Thus, it turns out that the fence resembles a sloping roof.

This type of fence will protect you from ultraviolet rays of the sun in the summer heat. In addition, you can plant climbing plants on it, which will decorate it and make it uniquely attractive.

Standard 3D fence models

The most widespread are two types of 3D fences. Let us list their characteristics.

First fencing option

These are high (3 m) structures that are most often used to protect the territories of industrial enterprises, medical institutions and other complex facilities.

  • Section dimensions - 2.5*1.53 m.
  • Number of stiffeners - 3 pcs.
  • Cell sizes - 100*50 or 200*50 mm.
  • The diameter of the rods is from 4 to 8 mm.
  • The cross-section of the pillars is 60*60 or 62*55 mm.
  • The thickness of their walls is 1.4–2 mm.

Second fencing option

Standard height (2 m) fences, which are suitable for installation in summer cottages and for use to protect other objects.

  • Section dimensions - 2.5*1.03 m.
  • Number of stiffeners - 3 pcs.
  • Cell sizes - 100*50 or 200*50 mm.
  • The diameter of the rods is from 4 to 8 mm.
  • The cross-section of the pillars is 60*60, 60*40 or 62*55 mm.
  • The thickness of their walls is 1.4–2 mm.

Fence made from building materials

The raw materials for such a fence can be found at any construction site and in your own yard. Metal scraps, pieces of asphalt, insulating materials with foil and glass plates will be your materials for construction. All these things need to be cut into small squares, and from them, like a mosaic, you need to put together a fence.

The remains of various building materials are suitable as raw materials for the fence.

Video: fence made from scrap materials

If you take the trouble to grow such a fence once, then it will delight your eye for a long time. Over time, the plants will become thicker, taller and bushier. The aesthetic and noble appearance of a hedge attracts attention. It is best to use branchy bushes for a green fence.

Shrubs or conifers are often used for hedges.

Bushes of jujube, blackberry, sea buckthorn, joster, rose hips, and climbing roses will make your hedge prickly. You can add lilac or Chinese cherry to the thorns of such a hedge. This will dilute the monotonous green color and add zest to the fence. Willow, mulberry, willow and acacia are suitable for growing low living fencing.

To get a beautiful shrub hedge, do the following:

  1. Dig a trench whose depth is 50 centimeters and width 40.
  2. Make a crushed stone cushion at the bottom that will remove excess moisture.
  3. Fill the hole 1/3 with humus, which will serve as plant food.
  4. Plant bushes in 30 centimeter increments.
  5. Bury the bushes with soil, compact it and water it.

Shrubs of different colors look impressive in a hedge

To create such a fence, maple, willow and rowan trees with thin trunks are taken. They are planted in increments of 40 centimeters. After a year has passed since they were planted, they must be pruned into stumps. This is how the growing season of tops is provoked. After another year, almost all the branches are cut off, leaving the 2 most developed ones. They intertwine with the shoots of neighboring stumps at an angle of 45 degrees. Thus, a decorative diamond-shaped fence is obtained, reminiscent of a large chain-link mesh.

The fence is woven from twigs or vines. There are many options for weaving. A fence made of natural stone is solid and reliable. A fence made of a picket fence in the form of colored pencils is a bright solution. Using a chain-link mesh allows you to create an unusual fence from plastic bottles. Plastic bottles are a suitable material for a small flowerbed fencing When constructing a fence from tires you can use original weaving

Building a fence with your own hands is not a difficult job. Even a schoolboy can handle it. It is enough to have a little construction skills, and your imagination will tell you the rest. A variety of materials and ideas will help you create a unique and inimitable fence. So don't worry and try it.

Model “Vegetable garden” with a wicker fence for children with their own hands.
Master class with step-by-step photos Gulnara Mikhailovna Tuzova, primary school teacher at the Blyudchansky secondary school, Chanovsky district, Novosibirsk region
Description:

This master class will be of interest to children of preschool and school age, primary school teachers, kindergarten teachers, additional education teachers, caring parents and those who are interested in creativity.
Purpose:
the “Vegetable Garden” model can be used in children’s independent games, educators and teachers - as a visual and didactic material, for an exhibition.
Purpose:
making a “Vegetable Garden” model with a wicker fence.
Objectives:
- create conditions for the development of cognitive and research activities of children;
— introduce the technology of making wicker fences; - develop the ability to correctly select and arrange branches; — improve the skills of weaving branches; - develop hand motor skills, eye, attention, memory; - develop creative imagination, aesthetic taste; - cultivate perseverance, accuracy, hard work, love of creativity; - cultivate feelings of collectivism and mutual assistance. I decided to make a “Vegetable Garden” model with a wicker fence in order to decorate the area, which will give the yard a special country style flavor. Decorative wicker fence is one of the oldest inventions of mankind and was considered one of the main types of fencing one’s own territory. Wicker fences, which our ancestors used to enclose their yards, are still popular today. They are widely used for decorating areas of country houses and cottages. Possessing a fairly attractive appearance, such a fence is also very easy to manufacture. The technology of weaving it is not so complicated, which is why this type of fence was most common in ancient times. Today it is a rather interesting element of landscape design of a vegetable garden. A wicker fence has its advantages - environmental friendliness, beautiful appearance, ease of construction, relative cheapness, and disadvantages - not a permanent construction, short-lived, difficult to repair. I wish you creative inspiration! Dare, master and surprise! Materials required for work:
- box;
— pictures on the topic “Vegetable garden”; - aluminum wire; - twigs with a diameter of 3-5 mm; - floral tape (brown); - acrylic varnish; — sheet A4 (green); - sisal (green); - openwork braid; - universal glue; - scotch; - wire cutters; - scissors; — awl Safety precautions when working with scissors:
— work with scissors carefully;
- scissors must be well adjusted and sharpened; - place the scissors on the right with the blades closed, pointing away from you; — pass the scissors rings forward with blades closed; - when cutting, the narrow blade of the scissors should be at the bottom; - store scissors in a certain place (box or stand) with glue:
- work with glue only at the table;
- do not bring glue to your face; - do not smell or put into mouth; - try not to get your clothes dirty; - When finished, close the glue well and wash your hands with soap. An adult uses the awl and cutters.
Step-by-step process for making a model with a wicker fence:
Preparation of material:
To make the model, I took a chocolate box with wide edges - so that it would be convenient to insert stakes for a wicker fence. Then I started preparing stakes from aluminum wire - for a more stable wicker fence. fence To do this, I cut 24 wires of 9 cm each with wire cutters - this is on the sides of the garden and 15 - 7 cm each - this is from the end. Then I took 3 cut wires and wrapped them with floral tape, but not completely, leaving 1 cm - I got one post-pegs I got 4 such stakes-posts on the sides - 8 in total, and on the end - 5. Next, I started preparing the twigs-twigs for weaving the fence.
I took young lilac branches, since they are softer and more flexible, and at the same time I did the necessary pruning for the bushes. You can use branches of other shrubs, just remember that you need to trim the branches without causing harm to the plants. After that, using pliers, I cut twigs with a diameter of 3-5 mm, corresponding to the length and width of the box. The blanks for weaving the fence are ready. All that remains is to install the stakes and weave the fence - wattle with your own hands Weaving process:
To install stakes on the box, I first made markings at the same distance - on the sides - 4, and at the end -5 Then I pierced through holes with an awl Then I used pliers to bend 3 ends of the wire to 1 cm in the form of a chicken foot - for a more stable position of the stakes on the box I did the same with the rest of the stakes and inserted them into the holes, with the paw to the bottom of the box and the stakes up. Then I secured the constructed structure with tape and sealed the entire bottom of the box with thick green A4 paper. After So I started the most interesting and not difficult task - weaving a fence from the bottom up.
In turn, each prepared branch was threaded between the stakes - in a zigzag. It's very easy and fast. So one side wicker fence is ready. In the same way, I made the second side wicker fence. And then - the wicker fence from the end. The wicker fence can be coated with acrylic varnish - to improve the appearance and strength. Design of the “Garden-vegetable garden” layout.
On the Internet I found corresponding pictures on the topic “Garden”. -vegetable garden”, printed out and attached to the inner and outer lid of the box using glue. Then I attached the lid of the box to the base in the form of a wall using tape. I glued openwork braid around the perimeter of the box, glued a green A4 sheet inside, to the bottom of the box and put sisal, in in the form of grass, the wattle fence can be decorated with toy mugs, pots, pans, hanging them on stakes. And if you hang artificial greenery and flowers on the fence, the estate will be completely transformed and will take on a cozy and wonderful rural flavor. Children will be happy to play, fantasize, and bring their own small models of vegetables and fruits and other toys. I added my finger toys from the fairy tales “Turnip” and “Ryaba Hen”

In schools and kindergartens, a lot of time is devoted to the production of paper products. Children of any age love to create with this material.

When creating crafts, imagination is involved; creativity also develops fine motor skills of the fingers. Photos of paper crafts

Unusual paper crafts

You can create DIY paper crafts in the form of souvenir boxes and numbers using a drawn diagram. A lot of paperwork cannot be done without the help of diagrams.

Templates help in creating three-dimensional products; you can use cardboard and multi-colored paper. Original toys, models, models of furniture, etc. can really be fulfilled by a creative person.

Handicraft departments and Internet sites are ready to offer ready-made patterns. Just choose the option you like. And following the instructions, download, print, cut and fold along the dotted lines. Upon completion of work, glue the product.

A variety of toys and animals can be made using ready-made templates.

Cardboard bird

  • Cut out the shape of a bird along the outline. Draw the beak, feathers and tail.
  • Cut a square out of colored paper and fold it into an accordion shape.
  • Make holes and attach wings in it.

If you don’t limit yourself to one bird and make several at once, then by attaching them to a stick, you can decorate the threshold of your child’s room. It will be a feng shui breeze.

It is important not to forget that all work with scissors must be carried out under parental supervision.

Upon completion of the manufacturing process, the child should tidy up all the equipment. This will develop a sense of order in him.

Crafts made from paper and cardboard. Three-dimensional paintings

Flowers can be cut out from white napkins. For work using napkins, white ones with perforations are recommended; they can be easily painted.

Napkins are an easy material to work with, but you need to be careful not to tear them.

Stages of work:

  • Fold the napkin four times. And secure it in the center using a coupling. Create a circle shape with scissors.
  • Raise each layer one by one, creating a voluminous flower.
  • Take green paper and cut out about seven leaves according to the template.
  • Using a brown piece of paper, cut out a basket. Glue onto red cardboard. It is beautiful to place flowers in a basket.

You can decorate the basket using corrugated paper. The color can be any and it is recommended to do it in two layers. Perhaps using foil for baking.

Properties and applications of birch wood

What is the value of birch wood? The specific pattern of processed wood makes birch veneer and plywood a popular material in the manufacture of furniture. Masters of artistic wood carving love to work with pliable wood.

Birch firewood is the best type of wood fuel: it burns beautifully, without sparks; high heat transfer; do not emit unpleasant odors; good for use in open fireplaces.

A simple gazebo made of birch pencils

Unusual paper products: weaving

There are many ways to weave paper crafts; they are distinguished by their originality.

Note!

The most popular option is to weave strips of paper in a checkerboard pattern. A slightly more complicated method is weaving from paper twisted into tubes.

The choice of paper from which it is created gives the product certain properties.

Some options:

  • Newspaper.
  • Receipt tape.
  • Magazine.
  • Plain paper.

It is quite logical that the denser the material, the easier it is to work with, and the product will be more durable. Working with a glossy magazine will give a unique design.

To work, you need to knock out one type of paper. Because strong paper does not intertwine with thin paper and can injure it.

Note!

Show your imagination and decorate the craft with ribbons and beads.

Appearance of 3D fences

Sections of 3D fences are welded metal mesh with special V-shaped protrusions. They give the fences volume and additional reliability. The material used to make pillars and sections is durable metal coated with zinc and nanoceramics. The finishing layer is high-quality paint.

3D fence
Photo No. 1: 3D fence

Typically, 3D fences are made in a green shade, but there are also non-standard options. Besides, no one is stopping you from repainting the fence.

Master class - paper crafts: paper straws

An entertaining creative process is making straws. When using a glossy magazine, you will get unusual designs, and the dense texture will make the product stronger.

To work you need:

  • Paper.
  • Scissors.
  • Ruler.
  • A simple pencil.
  • Knitting needles.
  • Glue.

Preparation of tubes. We wrap ribbons of arbitrary length and width 0.9 cm around the knitting needle. Glue the edge and take out the knitting needle. Leave two centimeters inside the tube and glue the second edge.

Slowly, take out the knitting needles and wind paper ribbons around them, creating the required length. For a basket, the length of the tube should be a convenient size for weaving.

Note!

What to consider when choosing 3D fences

The most important criterion for choosing a fence of the first or second type is the thickness of the section rods. Minimum - 4 mm.

Note! Unscrupulous manufacturers save money and reduce thickness. In this case, the fence will not last as long as it should. Therefore, if you want to buy a 3D fence, ask the supplier to confirm the parameters of the sections.

To choose between fencing of the first and second types:

  • Object type;
  • the functions that the fence will perform (protective or decorative);
  • price (fences of the first type are more expensive);
  • other factors (color, section configuration, etc.).

Original wicker basket: creation steps

The blanks are prepared and now you need a piece of cardboard, scissors and glue. Cardboard is required to create the bottom of the product. To make it, cut out a couple of cardboard circles.

Weaving:

  • Glue the created tubes in a circle onto a circle of cardboard. The next circle is glued onto the tubes.
  • We lift the parts up and secure them with an elastic band.
  • Glue the end of one tube to the base. Grasping the standing tube from the outside, we insert it inside and intercept the second tube inside.
  • Step by step, “inside-outside”, weave until the tube runs out.
  • To add length, you need to place a new vine at the end of the previous one.
  • To create the shape, you can place a jar of the desired size inside.
  • We weave to the required height.
  • The remaining pieces of vine should not be cut; you can secure them inside the product or glue them to a convenient tube.

Angel on the Christmas tree

In anticipation of the New Year holidays, I want to decorate my home with unusual elements.

By making your own paper napkins, you can easily solve this issue. And under the supervision of elders, even a five-year-old child can cope with creating an angel.

Instructions on how to make a paper craft:

  • From two different colors, cut out two 10 by 10 cm squares and bend them into an accordion.
  • Bend the accordion, counting 3 cm from the end. We bend one part to the right side, the second in the opposite direction.
  • Glue the bent bend to the bottom of the fan.
  • To create a head, you should cut out about 5 strips, the width is determined based on the size of the fan's edge.
  • Place the rest of the paper down.
  • Glue the halves and the angel is finished.

It turned out to be an excellent decoration for the Christmas tree; you can use a regular clothespin to secure it to the top.

Volumetric snowflake

Volumetric snowflakes look very elegant; you can decorate your apartment for the New Year. To create, you will need glue, scissors and paper.

Step-by-step creation method:

  • Cut out six squares.
  • Fold the square in half to form a triangle. Using scissors, cut from the bottom fold to the top corner. The cuts should not intersect; space should be left between them. Make three cuts in the shape of a triangle.
  • Unfold the sheet and arrange it like a diamond.
  • Glue the first row of strips together.
  • Turn over and do the same with subsequent strips.
  • Fasten all the strips.
  • Make six parts of a snowflake according to the description.
  • Fasten the three parts using a coupling.
  • Glue the finished halves together.

If you place a loop in the middle while working, then when finished you can hang the snowflake.

You can use both white and multi-colored paper, you can combine them.

Children's crafts

A cute craft for little ones “The Universe through the eyes of a child.” Design the starry sky, the moon and whatever your imagination allows. No need to use scissors.

Necessary equipment: glue stick, pieces of colored paper (confetti), dark blue cardboard.

Stages of work:

  • Use ready-made confetti or use a hole punch to cut out many colored circles.
  • Using a stencil, apply the month and stars to the cardboard.
  • Apply adhesive base to the finished figures and sprinkle with the prepared circles.

The finished product can be placed in a frame. To do this, glue New Year's rain along the edge of the picture. Creating an application is suitable for children of kindergarten age.

Movable toys

Toys of this kind are of great interest to children. Simply by pulling a thread you can create movement of your arms or legs.

And the figures are created very simply; for this you will need: cardboard, buttons, thin wire, strong thread and scissors.

Creation stages:

  • On the cardboard we draw the legs and tail - moving parts. We put dots at the base.
  • In place of the points, we make fastenings by threading thread or wire through them. Buttons are suitable as a fastener.
  • We glue the body and head onto a bamboo stick. You can use tape.
  • We put fasteners into the holes made on the legs and combine them with the body. Using an elastic band, we tie the paws together, making two holes in each paw so that they are placed very close to each other and the thread is not visible.
  • By analogy, we fasten the tail with the hind paw.
  • Tie another thread to the thread located between the paws. It is she who will launch the mechanism.
  • We decorate with colors to your liking.

Using these instructions you can make bunnies, chanterelles, and bear cubs. And it will be a whole puppet theater that will impress any kid.
