When yoghurts become an integral part of the family's diet, a myriad of plastic cups of different sizes and shapes appear at home. They are good for making all sorts of children's crafts and interior decoration items. By the way, Cipollino made from vegetables can be imagined as a DIY craft made from natural materials for kindergarten. Preschool children are often given such tasks.
The work of creating Cipollino from natural material will undoubtedly attract the attention of the children, and will also benefit mother. Our hero, made from waste material, will grow, decorate the kitchen window sill and delight the household with fresh herbs.
To make Cipollino from onions and a plastic cup you will need:
- 2 plastic cups of different shapes and colors;
- paints or mom's nail polish;
- glue;
- scissors;
- a piece of plasticine;
- plastic cover;
- onion;
- ready-made doll eyes.
First, let's deal with Cipollino's torso. We will need a glass and a lid. Cut out a round bottom in a blue cup.
We'll make the hero's hands out of red plastic. Let's cut out strips approximately 1 cm wide. Round the edges of the strips, that is, remove the corners and get small palms.
Glue the arms to the sides of the body. If desired, they can be left in the indicated position.
We decided to fix our palms on our tummy.
Next, glue the body to the plastic cover and paint the craft with red pants using varnish or paint. In principle, beautiful clothes can be cut out of colored paper. The main thing is to carefully water the bulb afterwards so as not to spoil the paper.
Cipollino's head is quite simple to design. You need to take a small sprouted onion and prepare doll eyes.
All that remains is to glue the parts to the bulb and paint the mouth with varnish.
We made the round nose of the craft from a piece of plasticine. At first, he categorically did not want to stick to the smooth surface of the onion peel, but we overcame his resistance. We demonstrate the result.
When the glue on all the parts had dried well, we filled the cup with soil purchased at the store. An onion with eyes was inserted into the hole. Our Cipollino made from onions and a plastic cup is ready.
If you consider that in the spring there is a large amount of sprouted onions in the refrigerator, then you can make a whole army of such heroes.
